What to expect at a hackathon

In case we would know about what's to take place during the hackathon so as to prepare accordingly

The above is a comment from one of the participants of this hackathon.

Basically to have a hackathon, you need a challenge or challenge(s) for instance to develop or adapt a mobile or web-based application aimed at disseminating information on job opportunities and(or) sexual reproductive health information and services in Uganda.

And participants to find solutions to the challenge.

While at the hackathon(Friday and part of Saturday), we shall brainstorm amongst our teams to solve the challenge(s).

Once a solutions is found or proposed it will be packaged in a way that can enable others to use it for instance a web application or mobile application

These solutions are then presented to a panel of judges.
The judges will then select the winning solutions.

The winning solutions will be awarded accolades.
